Timber frame structural repairs and rendering

We have recently completed this outside project, a timber frame building that requires timber treatment and rendering. 

 

We found the integrity of the building was comprised because condensation couldn’t escape, mainly due to the vapour barrier being sited incorrectly during its original construction. 

 

We have stripped back the render, treated and replaced the rotten sole plate and upright timbers, insulated, clad and are about to render the entire property. 

 

This is an NHS funded project to move an individual from a care setting to their own property. More pictures to follow of the inside work which is a complete adaptation and refurbishment.
